This study examined psychological well-being profile of Korean adults who participated in various leisure sports, as functions of sex, age, and exercise duration. A total of 1,177 participants (male=568; female; 609) age-ranged from 20yrs to 40 yrs completed the Korean version of the Psychological Weil-Being Scale. Structural validation of this questionnaire was tested by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. With MANOVA on sex, age and exercise duration in terms of psychological well-being, it showed that `sex` has to do with positive relations, and autonomy `age` with personal growth, and `exercise duration` with personal growth and self-acceptance. With follow-up procedures ANOVA, female is more interested in positive relations with other than male , while male has more in autonomy. The people of 20yrs have more awareness of personal growth than the people of 30yrs and 40yrs. With self-acceptance, the long-term group have higher awareness than the short-term group. The highest figure of personal growth is on the short-term group. These results were discussed with theoretical, conceptual, and methodological perspectives of psychological well-being, and future study was suggested.
