우리나라 7대 특별시 및 광역시 중심의 도시세력권 변화 = A Study on the Change of Urban Sphere of Influence in Korea Metropolitan City

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 1995년과 2020년 인구 총조사 통근⋅통학 데이터를 활용하여 우리나라 7대 특별시 및 광역시를중심으로 도시세력권을 분석하였다. 또한, 2개 이상의 광역시로의 통근⋅통학을 보이는 세력권 중복 지역과 기준치 이하의 외부 통근⋅통학을 보이며 어느 세력권에도 포함되지 않는 세력권 미포함지역을 분류하였다. 분석결과 1995년 대비2020년에 서울특별시와 대전광역시는 도시세력권이 줄어드는 모습을 보였으나, 다른 광역시들은 과거와 유사하거나 확대되고 있었다. 세력권 중복지역의 경우 교통여건이 상대적으로 양호한 비수도권 지역에서 나타났으며, 1995년 대비2020년에 감소하였다. 대다수의 세력권 미포함 지역은 광역시와 직선거리 50km 이상 이격 되어있고, 산맥 등 지형적요인으로 인해 접근성이 현저하게 떨어지는 지역들인 것으로 나타났다.

In this study, urban sphere of influence were analyzed on metropolitan cities in Korea using data on commutation from Census of the year 1995 and 2020. Additionally, areas with overlaps that indicated commuting to two or more metropolitan centers and areas excluded from urban sphere of influence classified. As a result of the analysis, Seoul Metropolitan City and Daejeon Metropolitan City showed a decrease in Urban sphere of Influence in 2020 compared to 1995, while other metropolitan cities either remained similar to the past or expanded. most areas excluded from urban sphere of influence, they were located more than 50 kilometers away from the metropolitan cities. with limited accessibility due to geographical obstacles such as mountain ranges.
