장면 전환 검출 알고리즘에 관한 성능 분석 = Performance analysis of scene change detection algorithms

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 내용기반 동영상 색인(Video indexing)을 위한 선행 문제라 할 수 있는 동영상 데이터의 장면 전환을 검출하는 기존의 알고리즘들의 성능을 분석한다. 비디오의 각 카테고리별로 실험을 통해 동영상 데이터의 분할에 있어서 각 비디오 카테고리별 데이터의 가장 좋은 성능을 내는 동영상 분할 알고리즘이 어떤 것인지를 비교 분석하여 장면 전환 검출시 효율을 높일 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

In this paper, the performance of various algorithms for scene change detection has been extensively analyzed and evaluted, so that the most suitable algorithm for the input video and the optimal threshold values can be selected.
By using the results of this study, the performance of scene change detection can be maximized as long as the category of input video is known a prior.
