아동기 정서적 외상 경험과 성인기 우울 간의 관계에서 분노억제와 전위공격성의 매개효과 = Emotional Trauma in Childhood and Depression in Adulthood: The Mediating Effects of Anger-in and Displaced Aggression

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of anger-in and displaced aggression in the relationship between emotional trauma in childhood and depression in adulthood. We investigated 420 university students using Childhood Trauma Question(CTQ), State-Trait Anger, Displaced Aggression Question(DAQ-K) and Beck Depression Inventory(BDI). A total of 355 among 420 was analyzed. Consequently, emotional trauma in childhood showed positive correlation with anger-in, displaced aggression and depression in adulthood. As a result of conducting structural equation modeling to examine the mediating effect of anger-in and displaced aggression in the relations between emotional trauma in childhood and depression in adulthood, it turned out that the depression in adulthood was directly influenced and indirectly influenced with double mediation of anger-in and displaced aggression, by emotional trauma in childhood. Through these results, we realized the facts that emotional trauma in childhood affected depression in adulthood and there was a consecutive way which go through anger-in tendency and displaced aggression. Finally, implications and suggestions for the future studies were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 아동기의 정서적 외상 경험과 성인기 우울 간의 관계에서 분노억제와 전위공격성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 총 420명의 대학생을 대상으로 아동기 정서적 외상 경험, 분노억제, 전위공격성, 성인기 우울을 측정하기 위하여 아동기 외상 질문지(CTQ), 상태-특성 분노표현 척도(STAXI-K), 전위된 공격성 척도(DAQ-K), Beck 우울 척도(BDI)를 사용하였으며, 그 중 측정의 신뢰도가 의심되는 65명의 자료를 제외한 후 355명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 아동기 정서적 외상 경험과 분노억제, 전위공격성, 성인기 우울은 유의한 정적상관이 나타났으며 구조방정식 모형 검증 결과 아동기 정서적 외상 경험은 성인기 우울에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 분노억제와 전위공격성을 이중 매개 하여 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 아동기의 정서적 외상 경험이 성인기 우울의 발달과 관계가 있으며, 분노억제와 전위공격성을 순차적으로 거치는 경로가 있음을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구에서의 시사점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.
