전산체계의 승법형 모델 = Product Form Models of Computing System

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 Paper 는 Computing System의 Modeling 및 Performance Evaluationd을 하기위한 Tool로써 Queueing Network models을 소개하였으며 그중에서도 Product Form Models 의 유용성과 그 가정으로써 Stochastic Assumptions 과 Operational Assumptions 을 비교하였다. 그리고 Performance Indices를 구하기 위하여 Normalization Constant Analysis 와 Mean Value Analysis 를 소개 비교하였다.
본 Paper 는 Tutorial paper 로써 modeling and performance Evaluation of Computing Systems 분야에 흥미와 Motivation을 주는데 그 목적이 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This tutorial paper presents the queueing network models of computer systems which lead to product form solutions. It introduces both the operational interpretation and the stochastic interpretation of the product form solution. The significant advantage of the product form solution is that it can be solved using very efficient algorithms employing very little amounts of computation and storage. It also exhibits two different approaches which have been used to develop efficient algorithms for calculating performance indices for product form models - i.e., normalizing constant analysis. and mean value analysis.
