고려시대의 치안정책과 조직에 관한 연구 = A Study on Police Policies and Police Organization in Korea Dynasty

This article is a primarily study on Police Policies and Police Organization in Korea Dynasty. It is argued that Sungunmanhobu(Police Bureau of Korea Dynasty) is the unique Police in Korea Dynasty. But there are many police force in Korea Dynasty. This study attempts to analyze the characters of Police policies and their effects on the Police systems in Korea Dynasty. For the purpose of this study, it uses a historical Method on the Police policies and Police organization in Korea Dynasty. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, the police policy of the early days of the Korea Dynasty(918-1170) is the policy on the Unification of Military and Police Force by the Civil Official. These policy have been effected on an pursue-buddhism and confucianism. Secondly, the police policy of the latter part of the Korea Dynasty(1171-1392) is the policy on the Public Police mixed with Private Security. These policy have been effected on the Royal Family Revival Focus on Buddhism. In Korea Dynasty, the policies on the Unification of Military and Police Force by the Civil Official and the Public Police mixed with Private Security had contributed to stabilize the national system. The diversified police forces of Korea Dynasty had played the principal role in setting up and building the government of Korea Dynasty.
