문화수용 및 융화적 관점에서 고찰한 17C 동서양의 기독교적 ‘교’와 ‘겸’－『도덕경』과 『칠극 권1』의 「복오 제1편」을 바탕으로 = A Study on Christian ‘Kyo’ and ‘Gyeom’ of 17C Orient-Occident from the perspective of cultural acceptance and harmonious－Based on 『Tao Te Ching』 and 「Bog-o Part 1」 of 『Chilgeuk Vol. 1』

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper selects ‘Kyo’ and ‘Gyeom’, which are the common topics of both writings in Lao-tzu’s 『Tao Te Ching』 and Pantoja’s 『Chilgeuk』, and discusses the similarities of narrative attitudes and perspectives related to ‘Kyo’ and ‘Gyeom’, ‘Kyo’ overcoming and ‘Gyeom’ oriented logic. Through this, In the perspective of cultural acceptance and harmonious, it seeks to find the point of contact of a common orientation related to ‘Kyo’ and ‘Gyeom’ contained in the basis of 17C Orient-Occident philosophical and religious thinking. By doing so, it is intended to be a clue to revealing what kind of ‘attitude and perspective’ Western religious people with Christian beliefs and ideas recognized and accepted the ‘Oriental’ religious culture. In Chapter 2: Section 1, the similarities are summarized in three ways by paying attention to what narration attitudes and perspectives are related to ‘gyo’ and ‘gyeom’ in 『Tao Te Ching』 and 「Bog-o Part 1」 of 『Chilgeuk Vol. 1』. That is, first, the narration attitude and perspective that everything does not originate with ‘self’, and second, the narration attitude and perspective that the source of all problems originates from ‘kyo’, and the third, the narration attitude and perspective that ‘kyo’ is an object that must be overcome. In Chapter 2: section 2, the similarities are summarized in three ways by paying attention to how to develop the logic to overcome “kyo” and the logic to pursue “gyeom”. In other words, first, introspection on human existence based on ‘gyeom’, second, introspection on human achievement based on ‘gyeom’, and third, introspection on the pursuit of a different human life based on ‘gyeom’.
