사랑과 기쁨을 노래한 婦謠 : 結婚生活을 노래한 內房民謠論 = A Study of Folksong

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A folksong is the reflection of the popular feeling prevailing in a society and especially in Korea without the study of folksong we can not catch the true attitude of the literature of common peaple.
Because in the former days it was only possible for Korean women to find the expression -of her joy, complain or sorrow in the folksong under the large family system. For a long time, a woman ought never to govern herself according to her own will. Woman, during her infarct' accord n; to her own will. Woman, during her infancy, depends upon her father
during her youth, upon her husband : when her husband is dead, upon her sons. There were more than seven cases that divorce was an obligations too.
In such situation woman was not allowed to express her own will but forced to remain alone in the shade. She was only requested the feminine modesty and restraction as the highest woman virtue.
In this thesis woman sang the love and other bright side of her married life, among the ;many songs of mysterious, inscrutability and unfathomable agony of woman.
