튀르키예 학습자용 한국어 - 튀르키예어 학습사전 번역의 실제와 제언 = Practices and Suggestions for the Translation of the Korean-Turkish Learning Dictionary for Turkish Learners

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 튀르키예 학습자를 위한 한-튀 학습사전 번역 사례를 공유하고 향후 튀르키예 한국어 교육의 발전을 위핸 단계별 사전 개발의 필요성을 밝히는 데에 있다. 1989년 앙카라 대학에서 한국어문학과가 개설되어 한국어와 한국학 관련 연구가 지속 발전되었다. 2017년 튀르케에 교육부에서 고등학교에서 제2외국어로 한국어가 채택되고 고등학교에서 한국어 교육의 문이 열렸다. 고등학생을 위한 한국어 교재와 사전 등 다양한 학습 자료에 대한 필요가 더욱 시급한 상황이다. 이러한 맥락에서 튀르키예의 한국어 교육 현황과 함께 현재까지 출간된 튀르키예 학습자들을 위한 사전의 현황을 알리고, 튀르키예 학습자를 위해 번역한 한-튀 온라인 사전의 특징을 국립국어원의 한국어 기초사전과 비교하여 분석하였다. 번역브리프 과정을 통해 한-튀 학습사전을 사용하게 될 튀르키예 고등학생의 문화적 사회적 배경을 고려한 번역의 실제와 번역 과정과 문화소 번역의 실제, 표기법과 표제어 및 예문 선정 과정을 정리하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to share a case study of the translation of a learning Korean-Turkish dictionary for Turkish learners and to reveal the need to develop a step-by-step dictionary for the future development of Korean language education in Türkiye. In 1989, the Department of Korean Language and Literature was established at Ankara University, and research related to Korean language and Korean studies has been continuously developed. In 2017, the Ministry of Education in Türkiye adopted Korean language as a second foreign language in high schools, opening the door for Korean language education in high schools. The need for Korean textbooks, dictionaries, and other learning materials for high school students is even more urgent. In this context, the current status of Korean language education in Türkiye is presented, along with the current status of dictionaries for Türkiye learners published to date, and the features of the Korean-Turkish online dictionary translated for Turkish learners are analysed by comparing it with the Korean Basic Dictionary which is developed by National Institute of Korean Language. Through the translation briefing process at the start, we summarised the translation process, the actual translation process, and the process of selecting notations, headings, with example sentences in consideration of the social and cultural background of high school students in Türkiye who will use the Korean-Turkish learning dictionary.
