ADDIE 교수설계모형에 따른 대학생의 창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램 개발

This study defines programs used for conducting researches in universities for rearing up creative talents appropriate for the knowledge-based society as the ‘programs for reinforcing creative research competence’, and intends to develop such programs. Therefore, this study aims to design a program by analyzing learners’ needs, which were not reflected in the past in accordance with the ADDIE instructional design model equipped with systemic and systematic procedures, improve the program quality through formative evaluations on the initially developed module proposals, and develop a program appropriate to learners. The study issues described in detail based on such study purposes are listed in the following.
First, what about are the analysis result and design of the program for reinforcing creative research competence?
Second, what about are the formative evaluation results of the initially developed module proposal for the program for reinforcing creative research competence and the final module program?
To solve such study problems, this study developed a program for reinforcing creative research competence through investigations on the preceding studies, analysis on extant data, interviews and literature reviews in accordance with the analyses, designs, developments, implementations and evaluations of ADDIE instructional design models based on the formative study methodology. The process progressed for the development of the program is described in detail as follows.
First, interviews were conducted to investigate the needs of operating agencies and learners on the ground of the preceding studies, literature reviews, extant data analyses in the analysis process, and such needs were analyzes and deduced based on the copies before interviewing, preceding studies and literature data. The needs deduced through such procedures were analyzed being related to the prior educations, reinforcements of prior workshops and orientations, systematic supports by operating agencies and cooperation with supervisors. The modules were structurized considering the progressive process of the program based on consolidated data of the needs of operating agencies and learners presented in the analysis stage and the arranged data of learners who participated in the program, and designed by selecting factors to be essentially considered to each module.
Second, literatures and extant data were reviewed based on the necessary requisites of five designed modules, and the initial proposal was developed based on such reviews. Module 1 developed and presented a supervisor’s contact guideline for the notification of the program, methods for public relations and encouraging the participations in the program, module 2 presented submission documents to be considered for the participations and developed a selection standard for the participants, and module 3 developed training data for knowledge formation related to researches, group activities, interactions with supervisors and methods for using research support funds. Module 4 developed an operation plan proposal for inspections and shares in conducting researches, and lastly, module 5 developed an evaluation standard on conducting researches and an operation plan proposal for the final evaluation meeting for sharing research fulfillment. Pros and cons of the module proposal were verified by conducting a proto-type formative evaluation subjecting learners for the implementations and evaluations of the initially developed module proposal presented in the above, the improvements were reflected on the basis of the evaluation standard, and, based on the revised modules according to such results, the finally revised modules were developed on the ground of indications deduced as the result of a feasibility verification carried out by experts.
The aforementioned study result is considered significant as follows. First, this study represents much to the designing and development of the program by identifying what is the educational support system being required in the program by reflecting learner's needs which were not reflected in the existing research programs through the development of a program for reinforcing creative research competency of university students by applying the systemic and systematic ADDIE instructional design models. Second, this study is considered meaningful as the reliability and feasibility of the program are secured as the result of implementation of the formative evaluations through learners and experts who are supposed to use the program on the ground of the data developed through systematic analysis and design processes. Further, the ‘revised module’ developed based on such process is believed to be applied to programs to cultivate creativeness for conducting researches.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지식기반사회에 적합한 창의적 인재를 양성하기 위해 대학에서 연구를 수행하는 프로그램을 ‘창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램’으로 정의하고 이를 개발하고자 하였다. 이에 체제적이고 체계적인 절차를 가진 ADDIE 교수설계모형에 따라 기존에 반영되지 않았던 학습자의 요구를 분석하여 프로그램을 설계하였으며, 개발된 모듈초안에 대한 형성평가를 통해 프로그램의 질을 개선하고 학습자에게 적합한 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적에 근거하여 구체적으로 기술된 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램에 대한 분석결과 및 설계는 어떠한가?
둘째, 창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램의 개발된 모듈 초안의 형성평가 결과와 프로그램의 최종모듈은 어떠한가?
이러한 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 형성적 연구방법론에 근거하여 ADDIE 교수설계모형의 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가의 연구절차에 따라 선행연구조사, 현존자료 분석, 면담, 문헌검토를 통해 창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램을 개발하였다. 구체적으로 프로그램 개발을 진행한 과정을 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 분석과정에서는 선행연구 및 문헌고찰, 현존자료 분석을 토대로 운영기관 및 학습자 요구조사를 위해 면담을 실시하였으며, 면담전사본과 선행연구 및 문헌자료에 근거하여 요구를 분석 및 도출하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 도출된 요구는 사전교육, 사전워크숍 및 오리엔테이션강화, 체계적인 운영기관의 지원, 지도교수와의 협력에 관련된 것이었다. 분석단계에서 제시된 운영기관 및 학습자의 요구종합 자료, 프로그램 참여 학습자 정리 자료를 바탕으로 프로그램의 진행과정을 고려하여 모듈을 구조화 하고 각각의 모듈에 필수적으로 고려되어야 할 요소를 선택하여 모듈을 설계하였다.
둘째, 설계된 5개 모듈의 필수요소에 근거하여 문헌 및 현존자료를 검토한 후 이를 토대로 초안을 개발하였다. 모듈1에서는 프로그램 공고문, 홍보방법, 프로그램 참여 독려를 위한 지도교수 contact guideline을 개발 및 제시하였고, 모듈2에서는 참여를 위해 고려할 제출서류 제시, 참여를 위한 선발기준을 개발하였으며, 모듈3에서는 연구와 관련된 지식형성, 그룹 활동․지도교수와의 상호작용․연구지원비 사용방법에 대한 교육 자료를 개발하였다. 모듈4에서는 연구수행에 점검 및 공유를 위한 중간평가모임 운영계획안을 개발했으며, 마지막으로 모듈5에서는 연구수행에 대한 평가기준과 연구수행 공유를 위한 최종평가모임 운영계획안을 개발하였다. 앞서 제시된 개발된 모듈 초안의 실행 및 평가를 위해 학습자를 대상으로 프로토타입 형성평가를 실시하여 모듈초안의 장․단점을 확인하고 평가준거를 토대로 개선사항을 반영하였으며, 그 결과 수정된 모듈을 바탕으로 전문가의 타당성 검증 결과 도출된 지적사항을 바탕으로 최종 수정된 모듈을 개발하였다.
이상의 연구결과는 다음과 같은 의의를 가진다. 첫째, 본 연구에서는 체제적이고 체계적인 ADDIE 교수설계모형을 적용하여 대학생의 창의적 연구역량 강화 프로그램을 개발함으로써 기존에 연구프로그램에서 반영하지 못했던 학습자의 요구를 반영하여 프로그램에서 요구되는 교육적 지원체제가 무엇인지에 대해 규명하여 프로그램을 설계 및 개발하였다는데 의미가 있다.
둘째, 체계적인 분석 및 설계과정을 통해 개발된 자료를 토대로 프로그램을 사용할 학습자 및 전문가에게 형성평가를 실시함으로서 프로그램의 신뢰성 및 타당성을 확보하였기에 유의미하다. 나아가 이러한 과정을 토대로 개발된 ‘수정된 모듈’은 연구수행을 통해 창의성을 함양할 수 있는 프로그램에서 적용될 수 있다.
