온라인 게임중독과 청소년범죄의 관계 = Concern with Online Game Addiction and Juvenile Delinquency

국문 초록 (Abstract)

  청소년들은 가정 또는 인터넷 게임방에서 온라인 게임에 몰입한다. 그리고 그들은 게임중독의 증세를 보이기도 하는데, 현실과 가상의 세계를 구분할 수 없는 상태에 이르러 폭행을 저지르고, 심지어 살인에 이르는 경우를 우리는 언론의 보도를 종종 접할 수 있다. 이는 청소년의 게임중독이 범죄에까지 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것이다.<BR>  게임중독에 관한 대부분의 선행연구들은 청소년의 게임중독과 학업의 관계, 자가진단척도의 개발, 게임중독의 원인을 규명하는데 그치고 있다. 바꾸어 말하자면, 청소년 게임중독의 영향으로 인해 청소년 범죄가 발생될 수 있다는 점에 대해서는 선행연구가 거의 없다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 온라인 게임을 즐기는 청소년들의 게임중독과 청소년범죄가 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 파악함과 동시에, 온라인 게임이 청소년에게 미치는 역기능에 대한 연구를 수행하도록 하였다.<BR>  모든 청소년 문제에 있어서 최선의 해결방법은 무엇보다도 예방이다. 따라서 온라인 게임중독의 심각성을 인지하고 청소년들이 범죄에 빠지지 않도록 해야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

  Juveniles are immersed in on-line game in their home or Internet-game center. Showing the symptom of game addiction, they reach the state of being unable to discern real world from imaginary world. We frequently contact the announcement of press that they commit violence or even homicide as a result. This shows that the game addiction of juveniles can affect even the crime.<BR>  Most of preceding studies on the game addiction merely defined the relation between game addiction and learning, development of the scale for self-diagnosis and the cause of game addiction. Namely, there is almost no preceding study in that the influence of game addiction of juveniles can generate juvenile delinquency. Thus, this study intends to grasp the relation between game addiction of juveniles and juvenile delinquency as well as to investigate the dysfunction of on-line game to juveniles.<BR>  The best solution in all juvenile problems is prevention. Thus, recognizing the seriousness of on-line game addiction, we must take measure so as to prevent juveniles from committing delinquency.
