사진의 메타 역사 정립을 위해 = Towards a Meta History of Photography

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We have assumed the map about the history of photography through the discussion about meta-history about the history of photography. The domain of history of photography has been extended, absorbing the new analytic tool the inter-disciplinary integral domain with new material. The writing on the history of photography has absorbed more diverse factors and pursed the adequate evaluation. The modern aesthetic theory have focused on the autonomy of art and the development of photographic discourse will be directed as the mixed histories between art, science and concept, culture, absorbing the virtual reality.
Therefore the history of photography must ask the epistemological, existential position of this kind of hybrid form in the philosophical context. Photography has extended the historical documents and the history of photography has contributed to the new history supported by the School of the Annales. The photographic history has played the role by providing system of the conception of history in the generalized history.
This study has tried to provide the basement for the meta-history, by classifying the photographic history as such, helping to think of the proximity and distance from histories of photography through the more multi- directed discussion and indicating the way of writing the photographic history.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

사진사의 메타 역사에 관한 논의를 통해 우리는 대략의 사진사의 지형도를 그려볼 수 있었다. 사진 역사의 범위는 새로운 재료들을 포함하고 핵심적인 상호 학제적 장을 전제하는 새로운 분석적인 도구를 포함하면서 확대되었고 사진사의 저술은 좀 더 다양한 동인들을 흡수하며 각 사진가들의 작품들에 대한 적확한 평가를 내리기 위한 노력을 해왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 근대 미학 이론은 예술의 자율성에 초점이 맞춰져왔지만 원근법, 사진, 가상 현실에 관한 논의가 사진의 장에 흡수되기 시작하면서 사진적 담론의 발전은 예술, 과학, 개념, 문화가 깊이 혼재된 역사로 진행될 것임을 예측하게 한다.
따라서 사진사는 철학적인 측면에서는 이런 하이브리드한 형태의 인식론적, 존재론적 위치를 의문시해야만 한다. 사진은 확실히 역사적 도큐먼트를 확장시켰고 사진의 역사는 현대 역사 전체 속에서 자신의 자리를 고수하며 아날학파(Annales)에 의해 지지된 새로운 역사에 기여했다. 여기서 사진의 역사는 일반화된 역사 속에서, 역사의 이러한 개념 체계 제공 속에서 그 역할을 해 왔다.
본고는 각각의 범주로서의 사진사들은 위계적으로 구획될 수 있으며 각각의 사진사들 간의 거리와 인접성을 관념적으로 사유할 수 있게 하며 사진사의 체계화를 돕는 것과 동시에 앞으로의 사진사 저술의 방향을 제시하고 사진의 메타 역사 구성을 위한 토대를 제공하고자 했다.
