아동의 기질과 어머니의 온정적 양육태도가 아동의 생활만족도에 미치는 효과 = The Role of Mother's Parenting Attitudes on Children's Temperament and Life Satisfaction

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mother's parenting attitudes on both children's temperament and children's life satisfaction. The participants were 125 pairs of mothers and children (125 mother-child pairs) of elementary school age. Children's temperament and mother's parenting attitudes were measured using self reporting survey reports by the mother's, and similarly, children's life satisfaction was measured by self reporting survey reports by the children. Based on the self reported surveys reports by the parents and children, both correlation and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. The findings revealed that in domain-specific life satisfaction with family, school, living environment and self, there were interactional effects between the children's neuroticism temperament characteristics and acceptance parenting attitudes. Additionally, in terms of their life satisfaction with friends and self, the interactional effect between the children's extraversion temperament characteristics and acceptance parenting attitudes significantly predicted domain-specific life satisfaction with their friends. The results from this study demonstrated that mother's acceptance attitudes positively affected children's life satisfaction.
