This study interprets the process of becoming that emerges during the implementation of an integrated curriculum in the classroom through Deleuze and Guattari’s concepts of territorialization(deterritorialization–reterritorialization). To this end, it describes the case of the integrated curriculum “Uncover the Death of the Sparrow!” implemented in a fourth-grade classroom at S Elementary School in 2023, and analyzes the meanings of two instances of becoming that occurred in this process. First, a new integrated curriculum was created by integrating new activities and lessons around the theme and achievement standards during implementation. Second, the another integrated curriculum was generated in relation to the existing context of the integrated curriculum. Through this reading of becoming, it suggests that the integrated curriculum inherently contains the potential for both homogeneous and heterogeneous becomings.
