『조선왕조실록』의 문헌적 고찰 : 『주례도』ㆍ『예서』ㆍ『대성악서』ㆍ『대성악보』를 중심으로 = The Documentary Research of Choso¨n-wangjo-sillok: in the circle of ChuryedoㆍYeso˘ㆍTaeso˘ng-akbo

I already studied historical documents about music by "Akso˘ 『樂書』study in Choso˘n-wangjo-siillok" and "Churyedo study in Choso˘n-wangjo-siillok " on the basis of the studies about 16 kinds of documents quoted in Akhak-gwebo˘m 『樂學軌範』. It was focused on researching the parts of musical contents from Akso˘ and Churye 『周禮』in Choso˘n-wangjo-siillok 『朝鮮王朝實錄』. It was found that most of them are reflected in the policy of courtesy and music of Chosen Dynasty. This paper covers the rest four of them.
The musical contents of Churyedo 『周禮圖』 are shows 15 times in Choso˘n-wangjo-siillok and all of them are related to the instruments in Sejong 世宗 Period(1418-1450). They are found in 12 akkidoso˘l 『樂器圖說』 like sogwan 簫管(pipe) · chingo 晉鼓(drum) · gwan 管(wind instruments). It makes clear that Churyedo was used as an important musical document for the policy of courtesy and music in Choso˘n Dynasty. Churyedo was used as a basic document to make wind instruments in chujongso 鑄鐘所.
The musical contents of Yeso˘ 『禮書』 are found 10 times in Choso˘n-wangjo-sillok and nine are in Sejong Period and one is in Cho˘ngjo 正祖 Period. They are quoted from Chin Sang-do's 陳祥圖 Yeso˘ for musical policies, Pak Yo˘n 朴堧 in Sejong Period used Yeso˘ as a basic reference for organizing the use of chingo, martial dances and other dances, and widening ho˘nhyo˘n 軒懸. The instruments and ritual equipment are also used on the basis of Yeso˘. Music for the traditional ritual after a funeral ceremony during Cho˘ngjo Period was also based on Yeso˘. Taeso˘ng-akbo 『大晟樂譜』 is once quoted and related to the musical policies in Sejong Period. Specifically, the instrument chi 치 is related to the musical policies.
Taeso˘ng-akbo is found 6 times in Choso˘n-wangjo-sillok and all of them are related to music. They are two of Pak Yo˘n's report, two about chujongso, one Yu Sa-nul's 柳思訥 report and one from akkidoso˘l 『樂器 圖說』. Pak Yo˘n organized so˘kjon 釋尊 and yo˘ngsin 迎神 on the basis of Taeso˘ng-akbo. Besides, by clarifying decorations of Jongeo and the rules of gwan 管 chujongso according to Taeso˘ng-akbo, it was used to organize the musical policies in Sejong Period. In the meantime, the playing pattern of o˘ 어 suggested by chujongso is not that of Taeso˘ng-akbo, but that of Akki 『樂記』. tongjijungch'uwo˘nsa 同知中樞院事, Yu Sa-nul 柳思訥 insisted that the instruments in Sejong Period should be based on Taeso˘ng-akbo and it was accepted as an important document at that time.
In this paper, I have covered the musical contents in Churyedo, Yeso˘, Taeso˘ng-akbo, which were all in 32 times. They were all related to the Sejong 世宗 period, except for only one which is about Cho˘ngjo 王祖 Period. Furthermore, it was found that it was mostly related to the arrangement and production of the instruments. Therefore, I would say that Churyedo, Yeso˘ Taeso˘ng-akso˘, Taeso˘ng-akbo was used to organize and arrange the instruments in Sejong Period. The importance of such documents was already found in the search of Akhak-gwebo˘m, but it is confirmed again in this paper.
