성인학습자 관점에서 접근한 평생교육강사 평가준거 연구 = Criteria for evaluating the quality of lifelongeducation lecturer

Criteria for evaluating the quality of lifelongeducation lecturersKim, Young-Hwa(Hongik University)Jeon, Dogeun(Kangnam University)Choi, Jong Cheol(Hongik University)This study attempted to develop criteria for evaluating the quality of lifelong education lecturers and statistically validate them. First, on the basis of the job analysis of lifelong education lecturers, seven areas of quality required to lifelong lecturers were drawn: (1) understanding the characteristics of adult learners; (2) developing educational programs; (3) teaching skills; (4) evaluating learners; (5) counseling with learners; (6) professional knowledge and (7) personality and attitude. Second, developing a questionnaire containing 74 preliminary evaluation items, we conducted a survey to 1,000 learners in lifelong education institutions and collected 934 responses. As the result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, twelve evaluation criteria were extracted: (1) the planning quality of lessons; (2) the ability to design lessons; (3) the teaching effectiveness; (4) the appropriateness of teaching attitude; (5) the appropriateness of evaluating learners; (6) the diversification of instruction methods; (7) ability to counsel with learners; (8) the level of understanding the characteristics of adult learners; (9) the effectiveness of raising questions to learners; (10) the appropriateness of class materials and homework; (11) the level of professional knowledge; and (12) fine character. The evaluation indicators for each factor were found to have very high levels of internal consistency. The result of the confirmatory factor analysis that was performed to examine the fitness of an evaluation model also proved that the model had a high level of construct validity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 성인학습자 관점에서 평생교육강사를 평가하기 위한 평가준거를 개발하고 그것을 통계적으로 타당화 하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 평생교육강사의 직무분석 결과를 바탕으로 평생교육강사에게 요구되는 자질 영역을 성인학습자의 특성 이해 , 프로그램 개발, 교수기술, 학습자 평가, 학습상담, 전문지식, 인성 및 태도 영역으로 구분하고 74개의 예비평가문항으로 구성된 평가도구를 제작하였다. 이 평가도구의 구성적 타당성을 검증하기 위해서 평생교육기관의 학습자 1,000명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 934명의 자료를 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 수업의 계획성, 수업설계능력, 교육효과성, 강의태도의 적절성, 학습자 평가의 적절성, 교수방법의 다양성, 학습자 상담능력, 성인학습자의 특성 이해수준, 발문의 효과성, 수업자료 및 과제물의 적절성, 전문지식수준, 품성 등 12개의 평가준거가 확인되었으며, 선정된 문항들이 각 평가준거를 구성하는 문항으로서 갖는 내적합치도도 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 탐색적 요인분석 결과를 기초로 설정한 평생교육강사 평가모형의 적합성을 확인하기 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 이 모형은 높은 구성타당성을 보여주었다. 따라서 이 연구에서 개발된 평생교육강사 평가도구는 통계적으로 신뢰롭고 타당한 것임을 확인할 수 있었다.
