사용자 특성을 고려한 색채교육 워크숍 기획을 통한 학교공간의 외부·내부색채계획에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Exterior and Interior Color Planing for School Space through Color Education Workshops considering User Characteristics

국문 초록 (Abstract)

(연구 배경 및 목적) 본 연구는 2022년 진행한 청주남성초등학교 후관동 외부색채와 2023년에 진행한 충주여자중학교 본관동과 후관동의 내부색채를 대상으로 사용자 특성을 고려하고 외부색채와 내부색채의 색채계획 대상에 따라 색채교육 워크숍을 기획하고 사용자 의견수렴을 통해 최종 색채디자인을 완성하여 준공하였다. 그 결과물을 소개하고 향후 본 사업에 참여하는 색채전문가에게 유용한 자료로 소개하고자 하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. (연구 방법) 청주남성초등학교 후관동 외부색채와 충주예성여자중학교 본관동과 후관동의 내부색채계획 연구 과정에서 색채전문가로서 사용자 참여디자인의 색채교육 워크숍을 기획하고, 사용자 의견을 반영한 색채 계획안을 작성하였다. 색채계획안에 대한 디자인 리뷰를 반영한 최종계획안을 선정한 후 시공 시 디자인 감리를 하여 재현성을 확보하고, 준공 후 최종적으로 사용 후 평가(POE)를 실시하는 전체 사업을 추진하였다. 특히, 사용자 참여디자인의 색채교육 워크숍은 사용자의 특성과 색채대상이 외부색채인지 내부색채인지에 따라 맞춤형으로 기획하였다. 초등학생과 중학생의 학습 역량에 따라 다양한 색채 경험을 제공하였으며, 참여 시간의 효율화를 위해 다양한 활동지를 단계별로 제작하여 진행하였다. (결과) 일련의 사업 추진 과정에서 얻어진 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육시설을 대상으로 하는 색채의 경우 학교의 일반적인 현황에서 학급의 증감에 대한 조사와 기투자실, 향후 예정된 환경개선 사업 등을 사전 준비 단계에서 파악할 필요가 있으며, 색채계획 대상이 외부색채와 내부색채인 경우에 따라 주변 환경색채에 대한 조사는 외부색채계획의 경우 대상동과 주변환경과의 조화성을 위해 다른 교사동과 주변환경색채를 반드시 조사하여야 하나, 내부색채의 경우 주변환경색채 조사는 선택적인 사항이라고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 색채교육 워크숍은 참여하는 사용자의 특성, 즉 초등학생과 중학생의 학습 역량을 고려하여 기획하여야 하며, 짧은 시간에 완성도를 높일 수 있도록 다양한 활동지 제작이 필요할 뿐만 아니라. 가능한 많은 색채 경험을 제공하기 위해 기존 채색 도구뿐만 아니라 컬러리스트 전문가용 색종이와 디지털 색채를 경험할 수 있는 스마트패드 스케치북앱을 활용하는 등 새로운 교육을 시도하였다. 셋째, 건축 내·외부 색채계획 프로세스에 따라 전체적인 현황조사, 색채컨셉과 방향 설정에 따른 색채선정, 건축공간의 주조색, 보조색 적용 부위에 따른 배색 일람표 작성과 함께 직접 대상 공간에 채색해보는 활동으로 색채교육 및 워크숍을 진행할 필요가 있다. (결론) 건축색채 대상과 사용자 맞춤형 색채교육 워크숍 자료는 색채전문가의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대하며, 향후 기술의 발달 등에 따라 지속적해서 새로운 색채교육 방법을 도입하여 진행할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

(Background and Purpose) In the exterior color planning of the rear building of Cheongju Namseng Elementary School conducted in 2022 and the interior color planning of the main and rear buildings of Chungju Girls Middle School conducted in 2023, user characteristics were analyzed, color education workshops were organized based on the color planning target of the exterior and interior, and the color design was finalized and constructed considering user opinion feedback. The purpose of this study was to introduce the results of color planning and provide useful data to color experts participating in further color planning projects in school spaces. (Method) In the color planning research process, a color education workshop of user participation design was planned, color plans were developed reflecting user opinions, the final color plan was selected considering the design review of the color plans, and design supervision was conducted during the construction of the color plan to ensure reproducibility. Finally, Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE) were performed after the completion of the construction. Color education workshops on user participation design were organized according to the characteristics of the user and whether the color target was an external or internal color. Various color experiences were provided according to the learning competencies of elementary and middle school students, and various activity sheets were developed at each step to increase the efficiency of participation time. (Results) The results obtained through the project processes are summarized as follows. First, in the case of color planning for educational facilities, it is necessary to investigate increases or decreases in classes, already invested facilities, and future environmental improvement projects during the preliminary preparation process. In the case of exterior color planning, the surrounding environmental color should be investigated for both the target and nearby buildings to secure color harmony. In the case of interior color planning, studying the surrounding environmental color is optional. Second, color-based educational workshops should be planned considering the user characteristics and learning competencies of elementary and middle school students, and various activity sheets should be developed to increase completeness in a short process. To provide as many color experiences as possible to the workshop participants, color paper for professional colorists and new education tools, such as a smart pad sketchbook application to allow students to experience digital coloring, should be used, as well as existing coloring tools. Third, according to the architectural interior and exterior color planning process, color education and workshops should be organized through an overall status study, color selection according to the color concept, the creation of a color scheme list according to the application area of the primary and secondary colors of the space, and direct coloring activities in the target space. (Conclusion) It is expected that the architectural color target and user-customized color education workshop data can be used as materials for color experts, and it is necessary to introduce new education tools according to future technological developments.
