To study distribution and behavior of sediment in the Baeksasudo between Taeanhaean National Park and Cheonsu Bay was measured at tidal current variation using ADCP during four tidal cycle of October 2014. Tide current of the inlet in the Baeksasudo between Taeanhaean and Cheonsu Bay dominated ebb tidal asymmetry. The current speed at the inlet of Baeksasudo (St. C2) was observed to be higher throughout bottom layer during flood tide and throughout near-surface layer during the ebb tide. Compared to echo intensity of ADCP during ebb and flood tide, relative echo intensity of suspended sediment concentration was on the near-bottom measured higher than surface layer at St. C2. As a result, the suspended sediment of surface layer was lower concentration at the toward Cheonsu Bay, especially through the mid and near bottom layer were higher concentration at the outward nearshore Taeanhaean. The sediment at inlets of Baeksasudo seems to be consistent with a trend of sand sediment texture, which showed sediment environment from relatively coarse of outer-bay to inter-bay, gravelly Muddy Sand, slightly gravelly Muddy Sand, gravelly Sand, Sand, slightly gravelly sand, Muddy sandy gravel, Muddy sand.
