마을교육공동체 실천 학교 교원들의 학교 중심적 태도 탈피에 대한 생애사 연구 = A Life History Research on Overcoming Schooling-Centric Attitude of School Teachers who Participate in the Maeul Educational Community

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, the process of internalizing the exclusive ‘schooling-centric attitude’ of school teachers and the possibility of overcoming ‘schooling-centric attitude’ were explored by tracking the socio-cultural lives of school teachers through a life history research. To this end, a topic-centered life history study related to ‘schooling-centric attitude’ was conducted, focusing on the lives of school teachers in the Maeul Educational Community who internalized and overcame ‘schooling-centric attitude’ as "natural attitude" related to education. ‘Schooling-centric attitude’ in the life history of research participants was a natural attitude accepted in daily life based on the interaction with socio-cultural conditions and structures. Through the transformational experience, research participants in the study were critically aware of ‘schooling-centric attitude’ that they unconsciously took for granted, and they were able to overcome ‘schooling-centric attitude’ by trying new educational practices. The results of this study will provide insights into exploring what kind of conscious effort is needed to change ‘schooling-centric attitude’ while capturing the socio-cultural context and conditions about ‘schooling-centric attitude’ of school teachers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 학교 교원들의 사회문화적 삶을 생애사적으로 추적함으로써 교원들이 배타적인 학교 중심적 태도를 내면화하는 과정을 천착하고, 더 나아가 학교 중심적 태도로부터의 탈피 가능성에 대해 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 교육에 관한 ‘자연적 태도(natural attitude)’로서 학교 중심적 태도를 내면화하고 극복한 마을교육공동체 실천 교원들의 생애에 주목하여, 학교 중심적 태도와 관련한 주제 중심 생애사 연구를 실행하였다. 연구 참여자들의 생애사에서 확인된 학교 중심적 태도는 사회문화적 조건 및 구조와의 상호작용에 기초하여 일상에서 자연스럽게 받아들이는 자연적 태도였다. 연구 참여자들은 무의식적으로 당연하게 간주한 학교 중심적 태도를 전환적인 경험에 기초하여 비판적으로 인지하게 되었으며, 이를 바탕으로 새로운 교육적 실천을 시도함으로써 학교 중심적 태도를 극복할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 교원들의 학교 중심적 태도에 관한 사회문화적 맥락과 조건을 포착하면서, 학교 중심적 태도를 변화시키기 위해서는 어떠한 의식적 노력이 필요한지를 탐색하는 데에 통찰을 제공해줄 것이다.
