This study identifies the immersive venue Sphere in Las Vegas as a representative case of media architecture and analyzes the interaction between its technical configuration and audience immersion. Sphere integrates a ultra-high-resolution curved LED display, object-based spatial audio with beamforming, and haptic seating to realize an all-encompassing sensory environment where media and architecture are fused. Methodologically, the research adopts a qualitative case-study approach and applies media-architecture theory, immersion/presence theory (Lombard & Ditton), and spatial-narrative theory as analytical frameworks. A qualitative content analysis of documents, audiovisual materials, and audience accounts indicates that Sphere presents modes of immersion distinct from IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX through (1) simultaneous, omnidirectional audiovisual stimulation, (2) embodied responses driven by location-specific sound and haptics, and (3) non-linear narration mediated by spatial movement and viewpoint shifts. The findings suggest that Sphere operates not merely as a projection technology but as a media-architectural realization of integrated space–senses–narrative design, underscoring the importance of space-centered experiential design and multisensory coupling strategies in future immersive venue planning and content production.
