일반논문 : 호남지방 일기자료 연구의 현황과 과제 = Research Status and Tasks of Honam`s Diary Materials

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 현재까지의 호남지방 일기자료에 대한 연구 현황을 살펴보고, 앞으로 호남지방 일기자료 연구의 과제를 살펴보았다. 호남지방 일기자료의 연구는 한국의 일기자료 전반에 대한 연구를 하면서 호남지방 일기자료를 연구 대상의 일부로 포함한 경우, 호남지방 일기자료에 대한 최초의 종합적 정리를 진행 중인 < 호남기록문화유산 > 내 일기자료 연구, 호남지방 일기자료 개별 작품에 대한 연구 등 세 가지 방면에서 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그런데『표해록』, 『미암일기』등 유명한 일부 개별 작품에 대해서는 연구 성과가 많지만, 전체적인 호남지방 일기자료의 현황 조차도 파악이 되지 않는 등 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 호남지방 일기자료 연구에 있어 시급한 것은 자료학적 연구이다. 이와 관련하여 호남지방 일기자료에 대한 전체적인 조사와 현황 파악이 먼저 이루어져야 한다는점, 호남지방 일기자료 연구의 구심점이 될 자료센터가 구축되어야 한다는 점, 일기 전체에 대한 DB 구축과 체계적인 번역이 필요하다는 점 등 세 가지 과제를 제시하였다. 자료학적 연구를 통해 호남지방 일기자료의 현황이 파악되고 기초자료가 제공된다면, 호남지방 일기자료 연구의 활성화를 가져오고 현대적으로 활용할수 있는 기초를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

This paper examined hitherto studies on Honam``s historical diary materials, and the research tasks for the region``s diary materials. The findings of this study revealed that as Korea``s overall historical diary materials are being studied, part of Honam``s historical diary materials are also include in such studies, that diary materials within < Honam``s Documentary Cultural Heritage > are being studied, the first total study on the region``s diary materials, and that individual diary materials of the region are being studied. Some famous diary materials, such as Pyohaerok and Miam ilgi have been profusely researched, but the status of overall diary materials of the region is yet to be examined. In the research on Honam``s diary materials, material research is the mos urgent. In this regard, this study proposed that the overall survey and status identification of Honam``s diary materials should be first conducted, that the materials center for researching on Honam``s diary materials should be established, and that a database on all diary materials should be con-structed. if, through the material science research, the status of Honam``s diary materials can be identified, and basic materials can be provided, it will facilitate research on Honam``s diary materials, and provide a foun-dation for the materials to be used in today``s situations.
