강원도 시립합창단의 운영실태 및 활성화 방안 : -강릉, 원주, 춘천시립합창단을 중심으로- = A Study on the State of Management System and the Improvement on the Municipal Choruses -Focused on Gangneung, Wonju, Chuncheon-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기는 문화가 사람의 삶과 사회를 좌우하는 패러다임으로 정착하고 있으며, 국제사회에서 문화예술의 특색이 국가 경쟁력으로 부각되면서 문화 사업을 국가 발전의 핵심 요소로 간주하여 문화예술에 대한 지원이 확대되고 있다. 또한 지방자치제가 실시되면서 지방간의 문화격차를 해소하고 문화적 정체성을 확보하는 측면에서 시립예술단체가 설립되어 운영되고 있다. 이러한 지역사회 발전을 위한 문화 활동 중에서 가장 일반적으로 이루어지는 것이 음악활동이다. 음악활동을 통해 연주자와 청중들 사이에는 연대감이 형성되고 문화적인 공유를 할 수 있게 된다. 이러한 시각에서 볼 때 합창분야는 매우 중요한 문화예술의 부분이다. 합창은 특정한 장비 없이도 각개인의 특징을 모아 새로운 음악을 만들어 문화 활동을 할 수 있다는 가장 큰 특징을 가진다. 이렇게 문화적으로 큰 의미를 지닌 합창문화는 현재 다양한 국공립합창단을 통해 실현되고 있다.
본 논문은 강원도에서 운영되고 있는 강릉, 원주, 춘천시립합창단을 중심으로 조사연구 하였으며, 2장에서는 한국합창단의 형성 및 활동에 관하여 알아보고, 3장에서는 한국합창단의 운영현황에 관하여 조사하였다. 4장에서는 합창단이 지역예술단체로서 어떠한 기능을 수행하고 있는지 알아보고, 5, 6 장에서는 강릉, 원주, 춘천시립합창단의 운영실태와 연주활동을 항목별로 분석하였으며, 마지막으로 7장에서는 시립합창단의 활성화 방안에 관하여 조사해 보았다.
다양한 자료조사와 통계분석을 통하여 세 개의 시립합창단의 운영실태를 확인할 수 있었고, 이러한 객관적 자료의 파악은 앞으로의 발전 방향을 모색하는데 중요한 자료가 될 것이다. 강원도 내 합창단들은 국내 다른 국·공립합창단들과 비교해도 손색이 없으며 지역 특색에 맞는 예술 단체로서 자긍심을 가지고 활동해야 한다. 또한 지속적인 발전 방안들을 마련하여 경쟁력을 갖춘 음악활동을 통해 사회적인 기여를 해야 하고, 이는 궁극적으로 균형적인 문화발전을 이룰 것이다.
위의 내용을 바탕으로 시립합창단이 지역의 문화예술 단체로서 더욱 긍정적인 영향을 끼치기를 바라며 앞으로 시립합창단과 관련된 음악적 측면에서의 연구가 활발히 이루어져 도내 시립합창단이 문화발전에 적극적인 역할을 수행하기를 바라는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Culture get firmly fixing paradigm that determinate life of human and social in 21C. A specific character of Art and culture is revealed of national competitiveness, cultural work regards essential element of nation development, so support of art and culture expanding. And a municipal culture organization is incorporated and ran to break up of culture gap, ensure culture identification of country. Most general type of culture activity for country community development is the music activity. A performer between an auditor make the feeling of solidarity and make culture sharing through music activity . From the viewpoint of this, chorus field that can sympathize with a person is most important of part of art and culture. Chorus has most broad character that can culture activity of a new music making of together a special distinctive of individual without specific instrument and function. Like this, Chorus culture that has broad significance, executions through various public institution chorus now.
In this study I research about municipal choirs in Gangneung, Wonju, Chuncheon. First, Chaper2 introduced information about the national choir’s foundation and activity. Chapter3 provides operating system of korea public choirs. Chapter4 describes operating system of the national choirs. Chapter5 and 6 individuates among Gangneung, Wonju, Chuncheon choirs about the operating system and musical performance. Chapter7 devise a scheme for city choir’s active musical performance. The material and statistical analysis presented the information about operating system of each city choirs. The information leaded to develop of city choirs. City choirs within a province can stand comparison with any other national and public choirs and they need to act with their pride as a group based on local characteristics. With long-term plan for their activities, they will contribute to the society through competitive musical activities. Accordingly, it will accomplish the development of well-balanced culture eventually.
Hopefully, city choirs as local culture and the arts group based on matters written above make their local areas accomplish positive effects and researches of aspects of music should be carried out vigorously. So, city choirs within a province will play an active roll of developments of culture.
