복합외상 청소년의 AEDP를 기반한 미술치료 경험에 대한 개념도 연구 = A Concept Mapping of experience through AEDP Art therapy for Adolescents with complex-trauma

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 AEDP(Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy: 속성, 경험적 역동심리치료)를 기반한 미술치료를 활용하여 복합외상 청소년의 경험과 의미를 살펴보고, 개념도 연구를 활용하여 시각적 체계로 제시하고자 하였다.
연구대상은 복합외상의 증상으로 간주되는 위협적인 대인관계의 경험으로 불편감을 호소하고 정서조절의 어려움을 느끼는 청소년 8명을 참여자로 선정하였다.
청소년에게 실제적으로 자아탐색이 가능한지 알아보기 위해 4개월에 걸쳐 예비연구를 하였고, 복합외상 청소년에게 미술치료프로그램을 주 1회 60분 총16회기를 진행하였다. 그 후, 40분간 인터뷰를 실시하였다.
연구의 자료처리 과정은 연구참여자들에 의해 분류된 유사한 중심진술문항을 기반으로 다차원 척도법(MDS:Multi-Dimensional Scaling)과 위계적 군집분석법(Hierarchical Cluster Analysis)으로 개념도를 분석하였다. AEDP를 기반한 미술치료프로그램을 통하여 내담자의 경험과 그에 따른 의미를 살펴보고, 최종적으로 차원2개, 군집6개를 도출한 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 군집1.작업과 정서적 경험, 군집2.핵심감정 머물기, 군집3.핵심신념 직면, 군집4.자원 및 욕구발견, 군집5.통찰과 변형, 군집6.긍정적 정서변화로 총 6개의 군집과 x축: 외현적-암묵적, y축: 이완-승화 차원을 확인할 수 있었다.
둘째, 인터뷰를 통해 수집된 중심진술문의 중요도를 평정하였다. 군집6.긍정적 정서변화, 군집4.자원 및 욕구발견, 군집1.작업과 정서적 경험, 군집5.통찰과 변형, 군집2. 핵심감정 머물기, 군집3.핵심신념 직면 순으로 나타났다.
본 연구에서는 AEDP를 기반한 미술치료에 대한 복합외상 청소년의 경험과 의미를 구조화하여 청소년 스스로가 자아(self)를 인식하고 이해하는 과정을 다루었다는 점에 서 의의가 있다. 상담과정에서의 경험과 정서의 변화를 중요시하는 AEDP를 기반한 미술치료가 복합외상의 실질적인 치료개입의 자료로 제공할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to explore the experiences and meanings of complex trauma adolescents using art therapy based on AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and present them visually through a conceptual diagram. The participants consisted of eight adolescents who reported discomfort due to experiences of threatening interpersonal relationships considered symptoms of complex trauma and difficulties in emotional regulation. To examine whether actual self-exploration was possible for the adolescents, a preliminary study was conducted over a period of four months. A 16-session art therapy program was then conducted once a week for 60 minutes. Following the sessions, 40-minute interviews were conducted, and transcripts were collected. The data processing involved analyzing the conceptual diagram using multi-dimensional scaling (MDS) and hierarchical cluster analysis based on similar central narrative items classified by the participants. Through the art therapy program based on AEDP, the study examined the participants' experiences and their associated meanings.
The research results yielded two dimensions and six clusters as follows: Cluster 1 - Work and Emotional Experience, Cluster 2 - Staying with Core Emotions, Cluster 3 - Facing Core Beliefs, Cluster 4 - Discovering Resources and Desires, Cluster 5 - Insight and Transformation, Cluster 6 - Positive Emotional Shift. The dimensions were identified as follows: x-axis: Explicit-Implicit, y-axis: Relaxation-Transcendence. Furthermore, the importance of the central narrative items collected through interviews was evaluated. The ranking of importance was as follows: Cluster 6 - Positive Emotional Shift, Cluster 4 - Discovering Resources and Desires, Cluster 1 - Work and Emotional Experience, Cluster 5 - Insight and Transformation, Cluster 2 - Staying with Core Emotions, Cluster 3 - Facing Core Beliefs.
This study holds significance in structuring the experiences and meanings of complex trauma adolescents through AEDP-based art therapy, allowing adolescents to perceive and understand their self. AEDP-based art therapy, which emphasizes the transformation of experiences and emotions in the counseling process, is expected to provide practical intervention materials for the treatment of complex trauma.
