셸리(Percy Bysshe Shelley)의 이상주의와 역사인식

This thesis is an attempt to reconstrust Shelley the poet, one of later British romatic poets, upon a newly argued and proved perspective, which has been being consolidated through more serious and integrated readings of his political, philosophical and aesthetic prose. Thus, this thesis reveal how thoroughly Shelley's seemingly 'romantic'' vainly-fluttering -upward -the sky- attitude is embedded within his never-receding, never-blurring acute sense of real life.

이 논문은 현실을 초월하려는 이상주의적 몽환주의적 지향으로만 인식되어왔던 영국낭만주의 후기시인인 셸리의 시세계를 그의 정치적 철학적 관심과 시적 창조력의 현실적 의의에 대한 관심이 통합되어있는 그의 산문과 통합한 관점에서 다시 읽음으로서. 현실개혁에 대한 근원적 관심과 낙관을 거두지 않았던 시인으로 복원하고자 하는 것이다.
