《呂氏春秋ㆍ十二紀》所見三代古史論略 = The Brief Discourse about the Historical Records of Three Dynasty in the “The Twelve Records” of The Spring and Autumn Annals

The author puts great emphasis on discussing distinguishing features of historical description inside the “Shierji”, The Twelve Records(十二紀), by examining the accounts on the Three Dynasties (the Xia Dynasty, the Shang Dynasty, the Zhou Dynasty) after explaining the background, intention and content of the Lushichunqiu, The Spring and Autumn Annals(呂氏春秋). In addition to synthesizing different schools of thought, the “Shierji” largely quoted people’s achievements for more persuasiveness. Besides reflecting the thought and argumentation, “Shierji” offers certain value for reference in understanding history of the Three Dynasties.
