This paper attempts to analyze into the composition system & bounds of the Haein-temple-Tripitaka Printing Blocks. the source material utilized a various analysis-indexes such as the publishingrecords & sculpturers(刻手) of the Haein-temple- Tripitaka Printing Blocks, the outside form of an individual Printing-Blocks, a printing bounds of the printed Books, and the catalogue of the individual Buddhist-scriptures that have been included among the Koryo- Dynasty`s Tripitaka-catalogue(大藏目錄) & the Koryokukshinjodaechangkyochongbyollock(高麗國新雕大藏?正別錄) etc.
At present, the composition system & bounds of the Haeintemple- Tripitaka Printing Blocks is grouped together with the Daejang(大藏) & Boyu-woodblock(補遺板). therefore, we are not discriminately against the historical & cultural character of the individual Buddhist Printing-Blocks that have been included among the Daejang & Boyu-woodblock. this system of classification was provided by the 2nd year(1865) of Year 2 of the Joseon Dynasty`s King Gojong, has been established since 1914～5 year when the Joseon Government-General(朝鮮總督府) has printed the Haeintemple- Tripitaka Printing Blocks.
However, this system of classification differs from the mid-century of the 13th century when the Haein-temple-Tripitaka Printing Blocks has been made up. in particular, the Koryo- Dynasty`s Tripitaka-catalogue is included among 1,498 kinds of the individual Buddhist-scriptures that have been listed from 1 volume of the Prajnaparamita-Sutra(大般若波羅蜜多經) to 100 volume of the Ilcheongeum-Sutra(一切經音義). the Koryo-Dynasty`s Tripitaka -catalogue was created in the mid-13th century, is included among 1,498 kinds of the individual Buddhist-scriptures. soon, 1,498 kinds of the individual Buddhist-scriptures are included in the Daejang. therefore, the Daejang should be distinguished from the Boyuwoodblock, should be classified as a separate composition system. this composition system & bounds of the Haein-temple-Tripitaka Printing Blocks reflects the historical & cultural character of the mid-13th century.
On the other hand, the title of the Daejang can also be called the Tripitaka(大藏經) & the Changkyung(藏經) & the Koryo-Dynasty`s Shinjo-Daejang(高麗國新雕大藏).
