초·중·고등학교 국가애 교육의 준거와 도덕과에서의 실제

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국가애는 국가의 구성원이 자신의 국가에 대하여 가지는 각별한 애정이다. 고대 이래로 현대에 이르기까지 인류 역사를 통하여 그것은 국가의 구성원들에게 국민으로서 지녀야 할 하나의 당위로 인식되어 왔다. 국가애를 교육할 경우 우리는, 그것이 인간의 사회적 본성에 그 철학적 토대를 두고 있다는 점, 숭고한 형태의 사랑이라는 점, 민족애 내지 민족주의와 관계되어 있다는 점, 그리고 바르게 이해될 경우 건전한 국제주의의 한 기반이 된다는 점을 그 준거로 삼을 수 있다. 이러한 준거들에 비추어볼 때 현행 한국의 초․중․고등학교 도덕 교과는 각각의 준거에 따라 다소 비중의 차이는 있지만, 실제로 그에 부합하여 국가애의 내용을 구성하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Patriotism is the love of and devotion to one's country. It has been recognized as a norm to the people of a country in the whole human history. In case of the patriotism education we should take note of some criteria for it. The criteria are as follows. Patriotism has its philosophical basis on human nature; Patriotism is a sublime pattern of love; Patriotism is related with love for nation or nationalism; and Fitting patriotism is a base for the internationalism. Despite some difference of strength and weakness, the practice of patriotism education in Mora Studies in the elementary and secondary schools of Korea corresponds with these criteria.
