한국 텔레비전 역사드라마의 데이터베이스(DB)와 해제 : 1964~2014 = The Database and annotation of television historical drama in Korea : 1964~2014

The purpose of this research is to make lists of historical television drama in Korea from 1964 to 2014. In spite of the socio-cultural value, its database has been insufficiently provided. This research suggested the lists of 318 historical television dramas, depending on type, form, time background, narrative, authors and producers so on). Concerning the time background, Chosun Dynasty is 241(75.8%), as the first, ancient times from Gochosun to three nations period is 23(7.3%), and Japanese colonial era to Korean War is 22(6.9%) so on. Historical dramas set on ancient times tend to be increased after 2000s. Television dramas narrative is concerned with historical figure-oriented(more than 30%), historical melodrama is followed as 22%, and social context-oriented(12.9%). In the case of historical drama form, weekday serials dominantly appeared in 1960s, daily serials in the 1970s, weekday and weekend serials(two times a week) after the 1980s. It was in the 1970s that historical dramas were produced the most. However, the number of historical drama production has been increased since the 2000s. With regard to protagonists, Lee Seonggye, the first king of Chosun Dynasty appeared at 7 times at the first.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 조사의 목적은 역사드라마 연구를 위한 기초조사로서 1964년부터 현재(2014)에 이르기까지 역사드라마 목록을 구성하는데 있다. 역사드라마의 사회문화적 가치에도 불구하고, 그동안 방영된 목록조차 제대로 정리되어 있지 않았다. 이 조사는 역사드라마의 항목(유형, 형식, 시대배경, 내용, 연출 등)들을 중심으로 데이터베이스를 제시했다. 조사대상 프로그램은 1964년~2014년까지 KBS1(KBS), KBS2, TBC, MBC, SBS, 종편과 게이블 방송(jtbc, tvN, ocn, CGV, MBC드라마넷)에서 정규편성된 역사드라마로 총 318개이다. 역사드라마의 시대배경은 조선시대가 241개(75.8%)로 압도적으로 많으며, 고대시대(고조선~삼한시대)는 23개(7.2%)였는데, 2000년대 이후 증가추세이다. 역사드라마 서사의 경우, 인물중심 역사드라마가 전체 30% 가량으로 가장 많았고, 역사적 사실이나 사건과 관계없이 여성의 애환을 다룬 역사멜로가 그 다음을 차지하고 있다. 역사멜로는 1960년대와 1970년대 특징적인 서사였다. 시대맥락 중심의 역사드라마는 1980년대 이후 증가했다. 역사드라마 형식은 1960년대 주간연속극, 1970년대 일일연속극, 1980년대 이후 주중, 주말연속극으로 변화되어왔다. 역사드라마 제작편수는 1970년대가 전체 29.6%를 차지했으며, 1990년대까지 줄어드는 추세였다가 2000년대 이후 증가하고 있다. 역사드라마의 주인공으로 이성계가 7회가 가장 많았고, 정희빈, 이완 ･효종, 대원군 등이 5회, 세종, 세조, 연산군, 허준 등이 4회 등장했다.
