다산(茶山) 정약용(丁若鏞)의 "굴소(屈騷)" 수용 양상 = A Study on Da-san(茶山) Jeong Yak-yong(丁若鏞) in relation to Cho-sa(楚辭)

국문 초록 (Abstract)

18년간의 유배경력은 다산의 "發憤著書"의 힘과 情緖를 유발했고 그의 학문을 성취 시켰다. 이런 정서와 경력은 다산이 屈騷와 관계를 맺게 된 要因의 하나로도 사료된다. 본고는 다산과 屈騷의 관련양상을 屈騷에 대한 다산의 품평, 산문과 시의 초사 수용 순으로 다루었다. 굴원에 대한 贊에서 굴원의 출중한 재능과 인격을 일월에 비견했고, 진리에 대한 탐구정신과 혼탁한 세속과 타협하지 않는 결백 및 작품의 현묘함을 긍정했다. 「醉夢齋記」에서 굴원은 진실로 깊이 취해있는 사람이고 죽을 때까지 깨어나지 못하였다고 하였다. 「原怨」에서는 초왕에 대한 굴원의 원망을 사례로 공적인 "원망"은 충효, 충정을 나타낸다고 해석했다. 「通鑑節要評」에서 「이소」는 기이한 글이고 經書 등과 번갈아 보면 피로를 느끼지 않고 공부에 유리하다고 했다. 「爲尹惠冠贈言」에서 「離騷」등 굴원의 작품은 울적한 회포를 토로한 글이고 읊으면 근심을 해소해준다고 하였다. 이밖에 산문은 초사의 일부 용어를 수용한 흔적이 보인다. 시는 "靈均", "楚大夫", "三閭" 등 굴원의 字나 신분 내지 벼슬직함을 지칭하여 용사의 형식을 취한 경우가 있다. 「離騷」·「九歌」·「漁父」·「卜居」등 작품명을 들거나 이런 작품속의 용어, 인명을 시구에 차용 내지 변용한 경우도 보인다. 다산은 산문이나 시에서 "屈騷"의 부분적인 내용과 형식을 널리 수용하여 소재범위를 확대하고 다양한 이미지를 창조하는데 일조했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The power of Da-san(茶山)`s energy and sentiment that pushed himself to writing books and made himself successfully in learning was due to his experience of banishment and homecoming life during 36 years altogher.The sentiment and experiece like above can be seen as one of the primary elements that made Da-san has relations with Cho-sa(楚辭). This paper deals with connective aspects between Da-san and Cho-sa by Da-san`s evalution on Cho-sa, followed by the acceptance of Cho-sa in Da-san`s proses and poetry. Da-san ranked Qu Yuan(屈原)`s talent and personality with the sun and the moon in his praise for Qu Yuan. He also said that public resentment shows loyalty and filial piety by referring the case of Qu Yuan`s resentment toward King of Chu(楚王) in <Won-won(原 怨)>. In other works, he said that alternate reading between <Li Sao(離 騷)> and Confucian classics(經書) not only can reduce the fatigue, but also can relieve pent-up feelings. Above this, Da-san`s proses show signs of his acceptance of several terms from Cho-sa. His poetry took the form of Yong-sa(用事) by designating Qu Yuan`s surname(字), status and official title. It also refered Qu Yuan`s works` name like <Fisherman(漁 父)> and accepted terms and persons` names from these kinds of works in his verses. With this, Da-san became a help to expand poetry`s material range.
