청소년의 흡연 미디어 리터러시, 자아존중감, 스마트폰 과의존이 흡연예방 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향 = Influence of Smoking Media Literacy, Self-Esteem, and Smartphone Overdependence on Smoking Prevention Empowerment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 흡연 미디어 리터러시, 자아존중감, 스마트폰 과의존이 흡연예방 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 흡연 미디어 리터러시(r=.18, p=.010)와 자아존중감(r=.31, p<.001)은 흡연예방 임파워먼트와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 자아존중감과 스마트폰 과의존 간에는 유의한 부적 상관관계가 나타났다(r=－.31, p<.001). 회귀분석 결과, 자아존중감(β=.30, p<.001)과 흡연 미디어 리터러시(β=.15, p=.035)는 흡연예방 임파워먼트의 유의한 예측 변수로 확인되었으며, 전체 분산의 11.1%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 흡연 미디어 리터러시와 자아존중감이 청소년의 흡연예방 임파워먼트와 관련된 주요 요인임을 시사한다. 향후 흡연 미디어 리터러시와 자아존중감 증진을 중심으로, 스마트폰 사용 조절과 관련된 요소를 보조적으로 포함한 중재 설계 및 적용을 검토할 수 있을 것이다.

This study examined the effects of smoking media literacy, self-esteem, and smartphone overreliance on smoking prevention empowerment among middle school students. Smoking media literacy (r=.18, p=.010) and self-esteem (r=.31, p<.001) showed significant positive correlations with smoking prevention empowerment, whereas self-esteem and smartphone overreliance were negatively correlated (r=–.31, p<.001). Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that self-esteem (β=.30, p<.001) and smoking media literacy (β=.15, p=.035) were significant predictors of smoking prevention empowerment, accounting for 11.1% of the total variance. These findings suggest that smoking media literacy and self-esteem are important factors associated with adolescent smoking prevention empowerment. Interventions that primarily target smoking media literacy and self-esteem, with supplementary components addressing smartphone use regulation, may be considered.
