소리성명학의 理論과 特性에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 소리성명학이 어떠한 이론으로 구성되어 있고, 그 특성은 무엇인가를 연구한 논문이다.
2장에서 소리성명학의 기본이 되는 ‘훈민정음’에 나타난 한글창제 원리와 소리성명학의 체계를 다루었다. 한글창제원리와 소리성명학의 체계를 살펴봄으로써 기존 연구의 한계를 언급하였으며, 연구방법에 대한 구성을 제시하였다.
3장에서 구체적인 운용방법을 작명법과 감정법의 실례를 들어서 다루었다.실제 한글 음양오행에 의해 육친관계를 토대로 종합적으로 분석하였다.
4장에서는 장점과 한계점을 지적하였다. 그동안 성명학 문헌을 살펴보면 모음보다는 자음을 중시하였으나, 자음에만 오행 적용하는 것을 지양하고 모음과 자음을 조화롭게 구성되어야 할 것을 제시하였다. 또한 훈민정음 해례본이 발견된 후 토(土) 와 수(水) 오행의 적용방법에 대한 논란이 있으나, 본 논문은 다수설에 의한 토 오행(ㅇ, ㅎ), 수 오행(ㅁ, ㅂ, ㅍ)으로 적용 했다.
결론에서는 일제강점기때 유입된 일본인이 주로 사용하고 있는 수리성명학이 한국에서 80%이상을 차지하고 있는 현실에서 우리의 한글을 바탕으로 한 소리성명학의 의 유용성을 알아 보았다.
소리성명학은 세계적인 성명학으로서 모든 사람의 이름을 한글로 바꿔서 접근할 수 있는 실용적 측면에서 그 의의를 지니고 있는데, 이에 대한 추가적인 연구와 통계학적인 검증이 후학들에 의해서 진행되었으면 하는 바램이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is theory and characteristics of Phonetical Namignology.
In chapter 2, it explained the principal of ‘Hunminjeongeum’ which is based of Sonic naminology. And also it showed system of Phonetical Naminonlogy.
It pointed out the limitation of existing studies by looking at the principal of ‘Hunminjeongeum’ and the system of Phonetical Naminology, and it explaind the methods of study.
In chapter 3, it explained specific methods of Phonetical Naminology and appraisal method with example. I riviewed comprehensively Phonetical Naminology based on Yukchin(六親) in Yin-Yang and the Five Elements theory.
In chapter 4, it pointed out plactical advantages and imitation of Phonetical Naminology.
So far, consonant has been more important than vowel in Naminology. But I suggested vowel and consonant should be used as same weight in Phonetical Naminology.
Since ‘Hunminjeongeum Hyeryebon’ was discoverd, there have been controversies about applying method of ‘earth(the Five Elements)’ and ‘water(the Five Elements)’, but I applied earth(the Five Elements) and water(the Five Elements) by current theory.
In conclusion, the study explained the usefulness of Phonetical Naminology which is based on our Hangeul against real-world practice that Mathemarical Naminology for Japanese has been used over 80% in Korea.
Phonetical Naminology is proper as the global Naminology and it is meaningful because Phonetical Naminology by Hangeul can provide useful analysis for every name in any language through changing it as sound in Hangeul. And I hope further studies about its verification and statistical approachment will be carried out by other reseacher in the future.
