This study attempted to investigate the influence of interest in beauty on information-seeking behavior and buying behavior of cosmetics. In terms of interest in beauty and information-seeking activity by occupation, 'professional job' was the highest. In terms of interest in beauty by education, ‘college graduate or higher’ was the highest. When analyzed by average monthly income, interest in beauty was high in a ‘KRW 1-1.5 million’ group with statistical significance. The above results show that information search has an influence on ‘interest in appearance’, ‘interest in makeup’ and ‘interest in others’ while buying behavior of cosmetics showed an effect on ‘interest in appearance’, ‘interest in makeup’, ‘interest in information acquisition’ and ‘interest at purchase only’.
