자폐성장애 대학생의 고등교육 관련 연구 동향 및 대학생활 지원 방향 탐색

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 자폐성장애 대학생을 위한 고등교육 관련 국외 연구의 동향을 PASS 분류체계 및 Nelson et al.(2023)의 지원 영역에 따라 분석해 봄으로써 자폐성장애 대학생의 대학생활 지원 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2024년까지 발표된 국외자폐성장애 대학생 관련 연구 234편을 연도별, 연구 방법별, 연구참여자별로 살펴보고, 장애학생 고등교육 접근 및 학생 성공을 위한 분류체계인 PASS 및 자폐성장애 대학생에게 제공되는 지원에 관한 Nelson et al.(2023)의 19개 지원 영역에 따라 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 자폐성장애 대학생의 고등교육 관련 연구는 2000년대 후반부터 점진적으로 증가하였고, 연구 방법별로는 질적연구, 조사연구, 문헌연구, 혼합연구, 실험연구 순으로 많았으며, 연구참여자별로는 자폐성장애 대학생 당사자 연구가 가장 많았다. PASS 분류체계로는 학생 중심 지원 연구가, Nelson et al.(2023)의 지원 영역으로는 사회적 학습 관련 연구가 가장 많았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 논의하고 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore directions of college life support for college students with autism spectrum disorder(ASD) through analysis of trends in international study related to higher education, the PASS taxonomy, and the support domains proposed by Nelson et al.(2023). In order to this end, 234 international studies on college students with autism, published up to 2024 were examined by year, research method, and research participants. The reviewed data were analyzed according to the PASS taxonomy, a framework for higher education access and student success for students with disabilities, and the 19 support domains for college students with autism identified by Nelson et al.(2023). Research findings indicate that higher education research targeting college students with autism spectrum disorder has steadily increased since the late 2000s. The most frequently conducted studies were qualitative, followed by surveys, literature reviews, mixed-methods studies and experimental studies. The largest group of participants were college students with autism spectrum disorder. According to the PASS taxonomy, research into student-centred support was the most prevalent, and social learning was the most prevalent within the support domain identified by Nelson et al.(2023). Based on the findings, discussions and recommendations were presented.
