다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The purpose of this study is to provide useful information for enhancing the quality of credit society by examining consumers` credit card usages and comparing those mainly using credit cards. those mainly using check cards, and those using both. The three groups of consumers are compared in terms of their card usages, attitudes on the attributes of their cards, and opinions on their card usages. The data are collected from 135 credit card users, 130 check card users, and 135 users of both cards alternatively. The results indicate that the socio-demographic backgrounds of the check card users are relatively lower than the other two groups and they use their cards according to the benefits provided. The attributes of a card are classified into eight factors such as convenience, incentive, image, credit, information security, cost, supplementary services, and regulations. These factors are occasionally regarded as burdens instead of benefits and this tendency is revealed more clearly among those mainly using check cards. Consumers also regard the convenience and enhanced credit points as factors causing over consumption and the discounts provided by the cards as burdens. The results of a logistic regression analysis indicate that those mainly using credit cards take the convenience of a credit card as burdens and the images as benefits, while those mainly using check cards take overall attributes of a check card as burdens and the costs for using their cards as benefits in a way pressing their willingness to spend.
