함안 성산산성 가야2645목간의 분석- 6세기말 보고문서 서식과 축성 인력 운용을 중심으로 - = Analysis of the Gaya 2645 Wooden Tablet from Haman Seongsan Fortress: Focusing on the Late 6th-Century Report Document Format and the Management of Construction Labor -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2011년 관련 목간의 사진 첫 공개에 이어, 2017년 양질의 적외선 사진의 공개되어서, 연구 환경이 개선되었다. 이에 전에 발표한 논고를 수정보완하기 위해 본고를 작성하였다. 목간의 해석은 다음과 같다. “6월에 오풍성 육간촌의 촌주가 대성 성산산성에 있는 상급자에게 상향보고드립니다. 까마귀가 매우 빨리 나는 것처럼 서둘러 결정을 요청드립니다. 柒汭智 一伐(신라 외위 8등)은 크고 큰 …입니다. … ‘大城에 따라온 人丁이 60일간 … 이들을 인솔하여 20일간 다시 마치었으며’(마치었다’ 고 하였으며), …(그런 연유로) 마치는 날에 (새롭게 파견할) 축성인부 이 사람들 오풍성에 두고 가게 하지 않았습니다.” 라고 아룁니다. 이 보고서는 아래에서 위로 보고하는 문체를 취하고 있으며, 변격한문으로 한국식 어순으로 한자를 표기한 문장 즉 이두가 섞였다. 대성은 지금의 함안 성산산성을 가리키는 6세기말 신라때 지명이다. 오풍성은 지금의 경남 청도 유호리다. 인접시기 자료인 경주 남산신성비와 비교하면, 이 목간에서 다음과 같은 사실을 알아낼 수 있다. 柒汭智는 축성작업의 현장책임자로서 남자청장년층 人丁을 인솔하여 먼저 60여일간, 이어 20일간의 연장 근무를 통해 작업을 완수했다. 칠예지는 남산신성비에서 축성의 실무책임자인 C1에, 오풍성 촌주는 상급행정단위의 장인 B1에, 인정은 축성실무책임자와 그 수하인 C3에 해당한다. 보고를 받는 자는 기록되지 않았는데, 이는 공지의 사항이었기 때문이며, 오풍성을 관장하는 중앙에서 파견된 관리로 추정되며, A에 해당된다. 4면의 막대형 문서목간이면서 예외적으로 하단에 홈이 파여 묶을 수 있게 되어 있는 것은, 이 목간이 어떤 물품 등에 묶여 장거리 이동되어 왔음을 말해준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Following the first public release of photographs of the related wooden tablets in 2011, high-quality infrared images were made available in 2017, improving the research environment. Accordingly, I intend to revise and supplement my previously published paper. The interpretation of the wooden tablet is as follows: “In June, the village chief of Yukgan Village in O-Fung Fortress submits an upward report to a superior stationed at Daeseong i.e. Seongsan Fortress. Like a crow flying swiftly, I urgently request a prompt decision. Chiryeji(柒汭智) Ilbeol(一伐), the 8th rank of Silla's external hierarchy) is great and grand... ‘The adult males (人丁) who accompanied Daeseong(大城) worked for 60 days... They were led for another 20 days to complete the task,’ (it was stated as ‘they completed the task’), and... (For this reason,) on the final day, the newly dispatched construction laborers were not left behind in O-Fung Fortress and were not sent to Daeseong.” This is the report submitted. This report adopts an upward-reporting format and includes Idu, a writing system that uses Classical Chinese characters arranged in a Korean word order. Daeseong(大城) is the name used during the late 6th century Silla period to refer to present-day Seongsan Fortress in Haman. O-Fung Fortress(烏馮城) corresponds to present-day Yuho-ri in Cheongdo, Gyeongsangnam-do. By comparing this wooden tablet with contemporary sources such as the Namsan Sinseong Stele in Gyeongju, the following facts can be deduced: Chiryeji(柒汭智) served as the on-site supervisor of the fortress construction, leading adult male laborers(人丁). The workers first labored for approximately 60 days, followed by an additional 20-day extended period, ultimately completing the construction project. Chiryeji corresponds to C1, the practical supervisor of fortress construction mentioned in the Namsan Sinseong Stele. The village chief of O-Fung Fortress corresponds to B1, the head of a higher administrative unit, while the adult male laborers correspond to C3, the subordinates of the construction supervisor. The recipient of the report is not explicitly recorded, likely because it was a well-known matter. However, it is presumed that the recipient was an official dispatched from the central government to oversee O-Fung Fortress, corresponding to A. The four-sided, rod-shaped wooden tablet, with an exception of a notch at the bottom allowing it to be tied, indicates that this tablet was likely tied to some goods or items and transported rom a distant location.
