      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of immersion and land resistance training on water polo exercise performance in elite water polo players. Subjects of the study were 20 male collegiate water polo players. Immersion training were examined during 8 weeks of circuit training inclusive of swim training. Land resistance training were examined during 8 weeks of weight training and swim training period. All subjects performed 200m aerobic swimming step test and 25m sprint swim set at their maximal effort. Jump test were performed land vertical jump and water vertical jump. The results indicate that 25m eggbeater kick record in IT group(p<0.01), 200m maximal swim record on five step and lactate level were significantly difference between pre and post in IT and LT group(p<0.05). Land vertical jump was no significantly difference between pre and post but 30 second water vertical jump was significantly difference between pre and post(p<0.05) in IT group. In conclusion, this study suggests that immersion training(circuit training) with swim training than land training(weight training) might influence positively on water polo exercise performance in water polo players.
