시설청소년의 자립지원프로그램 효과성에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Effect of Independent Living Programs for the Adolescents in Residential Care

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of independent living programs for adolescents in residential care, and discuss how to vitalize the programs based on results from the analysis. The survey data were collected from a sample of 268 adolescents in 12 residential care facilities from February, 2008 to February, 2009 using ACLSA(Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment). The collected data operated paired samples t-test. The results of analysis are as follows. After participating the programs, all independent living skills of adolescents in care system were improved. However, some programs were ineffective. Implications for independent living programs for adolescents in care system are discussed from this study. Firstly, the continuous and systematic programs of independent skills are needed. Secondly, we should consider the needs of adolescents. Thirdly, we need to reduce the size of program group less than 5 people. Lastly, researchers who study independent living skills of adolescent need to use various research methods in order to develop independent living programs.
