This study aims to enhance the personal journal-writing experience through technology, focusing on university students who are active adopters of AI. In response to the rise of generative AI in media creation, we propose a service design concept that transforms journal entries into visual content—such as images and videos—by converting them into structured prompts. The prototype interface based on real student journal entries was developed and evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), yielding a score above 75 and indicating strong acceptance potential. Open-ended feedback was also analyzed to identify common positive and negative responses. This study highlights the potential of generative AI to reproduce personal records as customized, interactive content and offers practical insights for designers and developers of AI-driven personalized services.
