    This paper attempted to suggest the way of the analysis of polysemy. Although many research has been undertaken on the meaning analysis. especially on polysemy, almost researchers has not dealt with the data of the actual use of specific lexical item. In this study, we analyzed the 849 practical Contemporary Korean data to show the meaning of Korean adjective {Gabyeopda｝. And then we analyzed the 369 data of the adverbial form {Gabyeopge｝ of adjective {Gabyeopda｝. By analyzing the meaning of this adverbial form we proposed that Korean adjective meanings need to be separately analyzed from the adverbial and the modifier from as well.
