착한 아이 되어 가기 과정의 의미 = The Process of Becoming a Good Child during the Kindergarten Year

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유치원에서 유아들의 '착한 아미 되어 가기' 과정과 그 의미를 살펴보는 것이었다. 연구방법으로 내러티브 탐구(Narrative Inquiry) 방법을 사용하였으며, 이를 위해 1년 동안 유치원 교실에서 4명의 유아들을 참여관찰 하였다. 유아들은 '착한 아이 되어 가기' 과정에서 교사의 권위에 순종하거나, 교사의 권위에 도전하거나, 친구에 대한 배려와 양보를 배우거나, 자신의 욕구를 조절하는 모습을 보였다. 본 연구에 참여한 유아들에게 '착한 아이 되어 가기'의 과정은 유아 자신의 가치가 반영된 선악개념이 형성되는 과정, 자신의 가치를 추구하고 형성할 수 있는 능력을 키우는 과정, 바른 행동이 습관화되는 과정, 내적 도덕 기준이 형성되고 추구되는 과정으로서의 의미를 지녔다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the process of becoming a good child and of how children construct their meanings of what a good child is. For this study, two kindergarten classrooms were observed and the teachers and the children in those classrooms were interviewed over the course of one year.. Narrative inquiry was used as research methodology to reveal the constructional moral processes of the children's experiences. For the young children in this study, becoming a good child meant the process of forming concepts of good and evil in which their own values were reflected, having the ability to pursue and form their own values, becoming accustomed to appropriate behaviors, and forming and pursuing internal moral standards.
