This article deals with what Refomed Life Theology is and how ethics of ministry should be understood from the perspective of Reformed Life Theology, My thesis is that the living Chhrist life which makes individuals, societies and churches alive is not found in the theology as science but in the Gospel. I point out that the traditional Reformed theology tends to be speculative and remain just as science if can overcome such tendency and be practical knowledge and that when the living Christ makes it alive. Reformed Life Theology suggests that God``s Word has no power and life when remaining just as a proposition and that the Word can show its power when applied to our individual and communal lives. The renewal and revival of Korean church, even though it has great troubles, begin with the recovery of its identity. Church should be a community where every member lives out Christ``s Gospel together. Christian life both in individuals and in church is witness of the Gospel to the world. That is why Stanley Hauerwas says that church should be political alternative to the world by witnessing the life of God``s Kingdom by following Christ``s story. I maintain Reformed view of culture according to which church should play her role as transformer of culture. But I emphasize that church should regain her identity before starting her role as culture transformer. I suggest that Christian ethics should include the perspective of virtue ethics and of narrative ethics as well as of ethics of rule and duty, for narrative ethics does reflect the history and traditions of communities in the Scriptures and virtue ethics regards the application of God``s Word to individuals in the context of contemporary narrative as important. I suggest that God``s Word should be applied to minister``s life too and that this application can make his or her preaching perfect. Further I make clear that an application of God``s Word to every individual life is possible only in the context of church life, for a church community provides each Christian with his or her identity and role. Christians as members of church should make a contribution to church community by using their various gifts from God. It is one of the ways which one can understand God``s Word more fully.
