This study studied the correlation between the activities of regionaloriented social economy organizations and the accumulation of social capital as a way to revitalize the local social economy field. The research method was quantitative data analysis using a regional resource survey for the establishment of a social economy regional ecosystem in 2020 by the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency and in-depth interview analysis of four social economy organizations based in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the factors of each social economic organization and local residents, the social economic organization and the social capital of residents in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do were similar to the national average. In that the average score was in the range of two points, the social capital between the social economy organization and local residents slightly exceeded the average. Through this, this study made the following suggestions. First, it is support for the permanentization of programs that can link the activities of social and economic organizations with regions. Second, it is a curriculum reform for the social economy. Social and economic education for adolescents has a great influence on improving awareness along with youth participation. Third, it is to hold a social economy-related festival in connection with the region.
