자기 발견을 위한 중등학교 글쓰기 교육의 방향 = The Direction of Secondary School Writing Education for Self-discovery

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Expressive writing has attracted attention in writing education in the way that it could increase the interest and the motivation of students. Expressive writing can be classified into 3 types, which are therapy, reflection, and communication. Expressive writing has great possibilities in secondary school writing education. Secondary school writing education deals with autobiography and self-introduction mainly. The education of this genre is focused on social achievements. It is not proper that students should write autobiography and self-introduction for social achievements. On the contrary it is necessary for student to reflect his life in expressive writing education. Expressive writing is good means to inquire the inner world and to discover the self in adolescence. Expressive writing should be planned to intensify self-inquiry and self-discovery in secondary writing education. Considered this direction, expressive writing can be contributed to character education.
