Today, the crisis caused by finance is a social problem. Many researchers in the humanities have pointed out the problems of financial capitalism. According to a large amount of accumulated research, finance plays a central role in financing investment for the economy, but at the same time, it creates social chaos caused by the bursting of the bubble and the illusion that all problems will be solved through finance. However, these research achievements are scattered across each discipline. In order to understand the financial crisis in depth, a comprehensive understanding is required, so this research conducted interdisciplinary research focusing on Walter Benjamin's 'Arcades Project'. According to this document, the origin of modern financial capitalism was the Crédit Mobilier, which appeared during the French Second Empire. This organization secured enormous Private capital through an aggressive low-priced bond issuance and took charge of infrastructure projects through this. However, this not only gave rise to a trend of excessive speculation, but also a financial feudalism in which power was concentrated in the hands of a small number of financial bourgeoisie. What must be broken at this time is the belief that the financial bourgeoisie can control the world through finance. Benjamin focused on the 19th century bourgeois Interior decoration craze as a critical medium for this. This is a trend that seeks to make the interior as if it were transported from the world through furniture and decoration, and this can be interpreted as being driven by an unconscious desire to dispel the anxiety of not being able to deal with historical reality. This research combines previous studies to look at the origins of modern finance and also provides an explanation for viewing the interior as a space where the alienation and anxiety caused by finance appear.
