In the development of this technology, the workplace has also started to change, with an emphasis on the importance of collaboration through continuous development.
Over time, the type of workspace simply to monitor, manage and supervise hundreds of employees has changed as social awareness, the importance of communication and creativity among employees, and corporate cultures have become increasingly horizontal. The current co-working space that reflects the elements has become a trend. However, based on the opinion that communication and collaboration among employees is the most important factor in working, Co-working space is now proven to have a worse impact on employees than good. Large domestic and foreign companies such as Hyundai Card, WeWork, and Google, which accepted this fact, have developed into a working space that eventually coexist with a collaborative space by installing a private space within a collaborative space to provide a personal space to employees, reflecting the needs of employees. research on components of “workspace” and “Atmosphere” has revealed the essential factors to create “Optimal workspace atmosphere” and through this result, the survey could be arranged. The key findings from the survey was first, people are not satisfied with their workspace atmosphere. Second, the physical comfort is very low, which should be considered before every other factors. Third, demand of customizable desk is very high. Through the findings, final design output has been decided. Design is expected to contribute to the creation of your own space by providing maximized customization and the only one of its kind in the world. Therefore, this thesis is meaningful in that it suggests a possibility for the future optimal workspace atmosphere design through personalization to be proposed.
