국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 노인학대, 자아존중감, 신체건강 및 정신사회적 요인(스트레스, 사회적 지지, 가족간 갈등, 가족친밀감, 삶의 만족도)이 노인 우울과 자살충동에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것으로 이를 위해 서울 강남ㆍ강북지역, 경기도 구리시와 그 외 지역에 위치한 노인복지시설을 이용한 65세 이상 노인 1,000명을 대상으로 2010년 11월 8일부터 26일까지 3주에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였다. 947부가 최종적으로 분석에 사용되었다. 분석을 위한 모든 자료처리는 IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며 구조방정식모형(SEM) 분석을 위해서 IBM SPSS AMOS 19.0을 이용하였다.
연구결과에 의하면 노인학대, 자아존중감, 신체적 요인(ADL, 주관적 건강상태), 정신적 관련요인(스트레스, 사회적 지지, 가족간 갈등, 가족친밀감, 삶의 만족도)은 노인우울(depression)과 자살충동(suicidal instinct)간의 직ㆍ간접적인 관련성을 가질 뿐만 아니라 선ㆍ후행 변수가 되는 것으로 나타났다.

The objective of this study was to identify the impact of elderly abuse, the self-esteem, physical-mental factors on depression, and suicidal instinct. To analyse the structural relationship structural equation modeling(SEM) was carried out by using IBM SPSS AMOS Ver. 19.0.
In conclusion, elderly abuse, self-esteem, ADL, self-rated health, stress, social support, family conflict, family intimacy, and life satisfaction factors had a direct and indirect effect on elderly depression and suicidal ideation.
Also, these findings have policy and empirical implications. The community intervention program for the improvement family intimacy, self-esteem, and emotional support is need to be developed and implemented. Futhermore, social network system and social participation activity for the elderly will be helped to reduce depression and suicidal instinct.
