인천문화관광 활성화를 통한 지역문화의 공고화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 인천시의 문화와 지역정체성을 공고히 하기 위한 방안으로 인천시 문화관광 활성화 방안을 모색한다. 이를 위해 인천시에 위치한 다양한 문화자원의 관광상품화 가능성을 모색하고, 이를 추동하는 일련의 정책방향과 추진 체계를 제시한다. 복지와 문화정책, 문화예술과 교육사업, 관광산업 등은 문화 분야와 직간접적으로 연관된다. 특히 문화관광은 여러 분야와 융합 가능한 다양성이 있고, 이는 인천의 지역정체성을 공고히 하고 나아가 지역의 문화재생산과 경제발전의 동력으로 활용될 수 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 본 연구는 인천시의 다양한 역사문화자원과 문화예술자원의 분석을 시도했고, 이를 통해 인천시의 문화관광 정책의 방향성에 대해 논의했다. 인천시 문화관광 정책의 방향성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인천시의 다양한 문화자원이 가진 역사성과 지역성에 주목할 필요가 있고, 이를 토대로 인천문화자원 콘텐츠 육성 및 현대적 재창조를 위한 방안이 필요하다. 둘째, 인천의 문화관광 활성화의 정책방향은 문화적 도시재생 뉴딜정책이다. 셋째, 인천시가 가진 지리적 이점의 활용을 위해 국제문화교류 네트워크 확장 및 증진이 필요하다. 문화관광 활성화는 본고의 주요 연구주제인 지역정체성 공고화의 선행조건이며, 향후 정책의 방향성과 관련 사업의 근간이 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines a plan to revitalize Incheon’s culture tourism as a way to solidify the local identity of Incheon. Also through the study examines the possibility of commercialization of various historical and cultural resources located in Incheon city. It presents a series of policy directions and implementation systems in this regard. Cultural tourism has the potential to converge with various fields such as welfare, cultural policy, and cultural arts. It can be used as a plan for regional cultural reproduction and economic development by consolidating the region identity of Incheon. To achieve the research purpose, this study attempted to analyze various cultural resources of Incheon and suggested the direction of Incheon’s cultural tourism policy. In the end, it was confirmed that the revitalization of cultural tourism in Incheon can firmly establish a local culture, and it can become a stepping stone for tourism growth. It presents the direction of Incheon"s cultural tourism policy. First, it is necessary to make the content suitable for the modernity of Incheon cultural resources. Second, the policy direction for revitalizing cultural tourism is the New Deal for Cultural Urban Regeneration. Third, it is necessary to establish an international cultural exchange network. However, this study is a declarative article for the establishment of regional identity through the revitalization of cultural tourism. Follow-up studies on the issues presented in the text should be continued.
