경기지역 사회신뢰 현황 변화에 대한 연구 = An Analysis of the Current Status of Social Trust in Gyeonggi Province

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신뢰에 대한 논의의 다양성으로 인해 다양한 개념화가 이루어지고 있으나 이들 논의를 종합해 보면 신뢰는 불확실성과 위험에도 불구하고 신뢰 대상이 신뢰자의 이해에 부합하도록 행동하리라는 주관적 기대와 그러한 기대를 근거로 신뢰 대상의 행동에 신뢰자 자신을 맡기려는 자발적 의지이다. 이와 연관하여 사회적 자본에 대한 개념을 종합적으로 정리해 보면 사회적 자본이란 물적 자본과 인적 자본에 대비되는 개념으로서 상호이익을 위한 협력이나 사회적 시너지를 생산하기 위한 공조를 용이하게 하는 사회적 유대나 혹은 규범, 신뢰와 같은 사회적 네트워크의 특성을 가진 자본으로 정의할 수 있다. 사회적 자본이 국가경쟁력에 핵심변수라는 인식의 확대는 신뢰 및 신뢰이론에 대한 관심의 증대로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 관심의 증대는 다양한 형태의 연구로 구체화되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 한국사회의 전반적 신뢰 현황을 분석하기 위하여 경기지역 사회신뢰 현황 변화를 중심으로 분석해 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Social capital is the expected collective or economic benefits derived from the preferential treatment and cooperation between individuals and groups. Although different social sciences emphasize different aspects of social capital, they tend to share the core idea that social networks have value just as physical capital or cultural capital or human capital can increase productivity, so do social contacts affect the productivity of individuals and groups. Society needs trust because it increasingly finds itself operating at the edge between confidence in what is known from everyday experience, and contingency of new possibilities. Without trust, all contingent possibilities should be always considered, leading to a paralysis of inaction. Trust in economics is treated as an explanation for a difference between actual human behaviour and the one that can be explained by the individual desire to maximize one’s utility. This study analyzed the current status and changes of social trust in Gyeonggi Province.
