In this paper, a circularly polarized L-shape aperture-coupled microstrip patch antenna describes the design, fabricating and testing for C-band applications. The antenna operates at RFID system of 5~6GHz frequency range which is resonant at 5.775GHz. The 2×2 array antenna for broadband characteristics and axial ratio improvement is designed for sequential rotation array using phase delay(0°, 90°, 180°, 270°). Foam for bandwidth improvement was placed between ground plane and patch, FR-4 epoxy substrate was placed as a avtenna protector on the upper patch. Measured result, improved by sequential rotation array with a L-type aperture coupled feed structure.
