The purpose of this study was to investigate the personal financial management behavior and the level of financial knowledge of college students and develop an education program for them. Two hundreds and two students of Catholic University were surveyed for this investigation.
The results indicated that the financial management behavior and the level of financial knowledge of college students were not good enough although students were very interested in money matter. However, the students were willing to take a class of Personal Finance if it's possible. Based on the results of this survey, a personal finance education program for college students was suggested.
